The Grand Slam for Success Convention is Now Open!
August 10-11, 2018 - Des Moines, Iowa
The first 100 members registered will be receiving a free copy of Roger Thurow's (one of our keynote speakers) book, First 1,000 Days.
Roger Thurow is an author and a journalist. He is a former foreign correspondent for the Wall Street Journal. As of 2010, Thurow is a senior fellow for global agriculture and food policy for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He is noted for his writing about the politics of world hunger.
Melinda Gates, Co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation had this to say about Thurow's book, "Malnutrition is often called a silent emergency, because it can be hard to see the damage it does to children around the world. In The First 1,000 Days, Roger Thurow makes readers sit up and take notice. He takes us to the four corners of the world--from the streets of Chicago to the villages of northern Uganda--to show how the right nutrition helps children not just survive, but thrive."
Haven't registered for District Convention yet? Don't fret. Early bird registration has been extended through July 5!
